At the Diabetic Youth Foundation’s Bearskin Meadow Camp we hire
some of the most experienced, enthusiastic and dedicated camp staff in the
United States and beyond. Camp staff are the backbone of the Diabetic Youth
Foundation. It is their sense of creativity and professionalism that makes
our camp, recreation and education programs possible.
Over the course of the summer and throughout the year, we hire &
recruit over 80 camp staff from the United States and all over the world. We
are always looking for individuals who are dedicated, creative, patient, and
professional, and who have experience working with children, teens and
families. Knowledge of diabetes is an asset but is not a must.
The team of staff members at Bearskin Meadow Camp work hand-in-hand to ensure a
safe, adventuresome and magical experience for all of the participants. Some of our families best describe what our staff & volunteers bring to children, teens and families who attend DYF camps and programs: |
| |
|
|
| |
"... the most important aspect of diabetes camp is not what the kids do, but the wonderful, thoughtful, caring and truly inspirational counselors on staff. It is their presence which really impacts our family. I feel as though they are our extended family..."
"As always, everyone was helpful. The personalities of the counselors/staff are excellent. They were always positive, friendly and full of energy. The kids love coming for the activities and making new friends. We made friends with many families and it is nice to see the same familiar faces every year."
"It takes a special kind of people to make something like Bearskin Meadow Camp happen... thank you."
After only twenty minutes of camp, our youner daughter told me, 'Dad, can we come back next year?' Thank you for this wonderfully supportive environment. |
