The Diabetic Youth Foundation is pleased to offer our third year of Summer Day Camp programs for children and families affected by type-1 diabetes.
DYF ’s Summer Day Camp will be the highlight of your child’s summer. If they wish, campers can bring a buddy—a friend or sibling with or without diabetes—to enjoy the summer camp activities with them and to learn about their condition. Camp songs, skits, arts & crafts, nature, and a field trip are all part of the fun for every child. In addition, the days include learning about diabetes and meeting new friends who experience the same challenges from living with diabetes. There is much fun to be had by all!
2013 Summer Day Camp Programs Locations & Dates:
Oakland, CA: July 8-12, 2013
Palo Alto, CA: July 22-26, 2013
Marin County, CA: August 5-9, 2013

Ages: 4-13. Open to Children with diabetes and an optional supper buddy (friend or sibling) too.
Dates: July 8-12, 2013
Time: TBD
Location: Temescal Regional Recreation Area, Oakland, CA
Food: Snacks provided
Transportation: Not provided, however emails will be exchanged for those parents who wish to arrange carpooling (please see registration form under “transportation information”).
Cost: $325 per child with diabetes; $275 for sibling or friend
Scholarship: Available upon registration
